The Seduction Compliant Series- Part 1: Living Room Must Haves.

I mentioned earlier that if you are a young male in Kenya, and you want to lay women, and you don’t want to pay for it, you will have to get an apartment. I also stated that this is more critical than owning a car, but I do agree that both are important. Eventually I will have to create a poll to settle the issue.

Now, lets assume the apartment matters more. Its location is important, but it is not everything. A two bedroom apartment in South C can go for 30,000 while a three bedroom in Killimani goes for 60,000 on average. If I was on a budget, which I am not, I would go for the 2 bedroom in South C and save the cash. Do not worry about the location so much, or the amenities (pool, sauna etc). Focus instead on selecting an apartment with nice fixtures, a bathtub, and new and functional toilets. A woman appreciates sanitation and beauty more than whether the place has a pool. Also, the apartment must have a living room and a separate bedroom (I once knew a guy in South C that was renting literally a room with a bathroom attached!).

A women requires a place for emotional seduction as well as physical seduction. A place where a man will need to emotionally seduce the woman (i.e.while sitting on the couch having a drink watching a cheesy movie etc). Just remember that the living room leads to the bedroom and because a woman’s libido connects emotional stimulation and sexual stimulation together. A successful male will put her at ease in both places.

So here are my must haves for a living room:

Leather Couches. Women love the feel of leather. Plus they are fun to have sex on and they make clean-up a *snap*!

Paint. Gentleman… pleeease paint your walls. I am not talking about blue, orange, yellow, red etc. Unless you are planning a kids birthday party. I also do not recommend white either. Chose some light earth tones or dark Earth tones if you want to paint one of two walls. Here are some ideas.

Flat screen TV. I really don’t need to go into detail about this, but I would advise men who can’t afford then to save up. Get rid of your DSTV to compensate… that matters little in the scheme of things.

Pictures, rugs, framed photos, lamps, book shelves…. All of these things help to make a man appear sophisticated and appeal to the woman’s need for a “homey” atmosphere. I once had a girl complement me on my place for nothing else except it’s homey appeal. I am not suggesting cluttering your place. Just ensure that the lighting is not artificial and the two of you are not staring at the wall. Items in the living room can also act as conversation pieces..like the books on the shelves, the magazines on the coffee table, the nice painting hanging on the wall.

Non-essential Extras.

Here are some items that I consider pluses that will definitely compliment a bachelor pad. I have a few already of these and plan on securing the rest in the next couple of months. The first is a Mini-Bar. I am not talking about a bar like you see in a club but a piece of furniture where you can store glasses, liquor and wine, and the mixing utensils. Here are some examples I like.

The second would be some sort of video game system. The system that appeals the most to women is Nintendo’s Wii because it allows them to create their own avatars.. thereby honing on a woman’s innate desire to play dress up. Also, gaming systems like Wii are ice-breakers… providing the woman with enough incentive to get out of their comfort zone. Great for parties as well.

The third thing is a subtle and sophisticated music system.. one that you can link up to your iPod and TV. I find giant boom-box-type systems in poor taste. They are an eyesore and a distraction. Like make-up, the best music systems are the ones that you can’t see. Get a system that is small or have fit in a cabinet. Make sure to buy small high-quality Bose speakers that may be hidden around the room providing surround sound – be sure to stock your music selection with smooth Jazz and Reggae.
